Hello Green World

This newsletter is written by me Ken Welch. This photo was taken while working in a garden in California.
The best gift you can give is the blessing of your attention. It’s what separates great gardens from the good. That’s why I am incredibly humbled to be the recipient of your attention in this moment. I’ll vow to be a good steward of it by writing and preparing an enjoyable and educational newsletter for you.
I’m writing from the Midwest in Wisconsin (Zone 5a), and if you are in a similar region you will get the most out of this newsletter. However, I’ll be writing articles that cover gardening theories and interviews with influential voices. I’d encourage you to read this if you are one of the following:
A gardener of any skill level
Or
A new homeowner ready to get your hands dirty
If that describes you, then you are in the right place to learn more about gardening, while I devise way’s to subtly convince you to plant more native plants to support the ecosystem right outside your front door. A weekly newsletter will include 3 sections. A feature story, a list of actions you can do based on the time of year, and a couple of recommendations for more learning opportunities.
This Weekend in the Midwest Garden
This is where I will suggest timely actions that you can complete based on the time of year.
